In 2003, a group of donors approved the Principles of Good Humanitarian Donorship. Two years later, in 2005, all 23 members of the OECD Development Assistance Committee joined the proposal. The 23 principles and good practices guide the actions of donors and establish mechanisms that promote accountability and transparency in their actions.
