DARA acts in developing countries, conflict areas and wherever humanitarian aid is needed. Since its establishment, DARA has conducted a variety of projects and studies in different regions of the world.
This has allowed DARA to accumulate extensive and diverse experience in countries of North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Caucasus, and Central Asia, and Southeast Asia and the Pacific

DARA works to improve humanitarian aid, development and organisational performance, with the end goal of alleviating human suffering and to reducing poverty.
DARA’s work allows for the evaluation of various development and humanitarian instruments and interventions such as policies, strategies, budget support mechanisms, programmes and projects.
DARA has conducted ex ante, intermediate and ex post evaluations, always opting for the most participatory evaluation model possible including all aid stakeholders. DARA also works in the field of organisational performance and internal capacity-building.
