HUMANITARIAN ACTION

Evaluation of the Food Aid Project Implemented by MPDL in the Saharawi Refugee Camps in Algeria. Food Aid Programme financed by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, AECI. May 2006. (Spanish version only).

Evaluation that, above all, aims to report on the aid processes and strategies to reduce food insecurity in the Saharawi camps. Its purpose is to share information and findings with the authorities, the National Union of Saharawi Women and other interested actors. It also intends to contribute to the analysis of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation’s strategy.

Reports for the Technical Evaluation Coalition (TEC). DARA for DANIDA 2005-2006.

Reports conducted by DARA for the Tsunami Evaluation Coalition (TEC). The TEC was established in February 2005 to evaluate the humanitarian response to the tsunami that struck Asia at the end of 2004. DARA provided several reports to what was considered the most extensive study created by several donors, after the evaluation conducted in Rwanda in the mid 1990’s.



DEVELOPMENT

Preparation of the report "Towards a New Spanish Cooperation Policy”. (Doc. in Spanish) 2004, DARA for FRIDE.

Report that presents a series of policies, originated and compared in a participatory way through the comparative analysis of bilateral donors, with the goal of helping the administration to design and implement an action plan that is consistent with the international development objectives related to poverty reduction and humanitarian action.
