In Lebanon
- Victims. Around 1,200 Lebanese civilians and soldiers lost their lives. 4,400 were injured.
- Displaced. One million people were force to seek refuge in other countries.
- Infrastructure. 107,000 houses were damaged or destroyed. The country’s infrastructure suffered an estimated damage of US$ 3.5 billion.
- Agriculture. 85% of the farmers lost their crops.
In Israel
- Victims. 19 soldiers and 43 civilians lost their lives; approximately 895 people were injured and 400,000 were displaced.
- Economic cost. The war cost US$5.3 billion.
- Infrastructure. 6,000 homes and 12,000 buildings were damaged as a result of the conflict.

DATA ON THE HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE
- Humanitarian assistance. Humanitarian aid totalled more than US$514 million.
- Main donors. The main donors were the United States, Saudi Arabia, the European Commission/ECHO, Italy and United Arab Emirates. Gulf countries also made significant contributions, providing 25% of the aid.
- UN Appeal. The UN Appeal requested US$96.5 million; donors responded by providing US$119 million.
